As ambient temperature increases or as amperage increases, the use of a properly sized heat sink becomes necessary. The smaller the “heat sink rating” number, the better the heat sink is at dissipating the heat.

Use a thermal conduction grease or a thermal pad in order to achieve the proper heat sinking capability between the SSR and the heat sinks.
